Candidates who’ve used specific voyage attendant education are supported by the finest likelihood. Once anyone is employed he/she will go through around ten weeks of training
from the employer. Further needs comprise being between eighteen and 20- years old, the ability to speak a foreign language when flying along with an international airway and a
minimum height therefore the staff may get to the overhead compartments.
Newly hired workers must have no felony record before working an airway. Even if you don’t let them know about this, practically every one airways perform criminal background
checks, which can go in the past for twelve years. They will find out, and you’ll be terminated on the spot.
The demand for new voyage attendants will always fluctuate if the demand for air travel goes up and down. The air carriers are very sensitive to changes in the market. When
there’s a downward spiral the employing of new attendants can down turn, and the most senior workers can be laid off until traffic reverts to regular. Rivalry is eager on the
grounds that these jobs attract more people than you can find available jobs. Just a handful of people are appointed on a yearly basis.
The timetable as well as passengers will challenge a new airfare attendant in ways which are difficult to imagine, many passengers have to overcome fear of flying, consequently
might be rather off with the airfare attendant, due to their nerves.
After the formal training is accomplished a attendant will be placed on reserve status for around a year. It could carry on much longer than that. He/she will work when called
to fill in for hurt or holidaying attendants. Anticipate many red eye flights, long hours and informal schedules.
The principle responsibilities of flight attendants will be to keep the passengers safe. But , they must also make a airfare enjoyable as well as cozy. One hour ahead of voyage
takes off, the captain will brief the attendants on things like emergency evacuation measures, anticipated weather conditions, how long the plane will be in the sky and if any
of the passengers have unique requirements or demand special help overcome fear of flying.
Attendants should determine to see if there is enough meals and drinks. They are required to answer any questions about the flight, distribute reading material, provide
blankets/pillows and assist little children, aged people as well as handicapped passengers.
Airline carriers run twenty- four hours each day, 3 hundred and sixty 5 days a year. Attendants can expect to work weekends along with holiday season. The maximum amount of time
an attendant is going to be on duty is all about 14 hours. While away from home they stay in rooms totally free as well as receive dinner exclusions.
Airfare attendants should figure out how to be firm in addition to assertive, or else disobedient passengers might take advantage of them in every last way thinkable. Drunken
passengers pose a danger to all the passengers for the reason that while the aircraft may be sixty- 4 big ones feet above the ground there are no security guards, along with no
one can telephone 911 for help. Flight attendants must be the 1st and last line of defence available within the plane.

Would you claim your iPhone had been stolen when you have lost it? Unfortunately, iPhone insurance policy’s do not provide full protection in the event that an iPhone is lost, so when a consumer finds themselves in the situation where they have missed placed their iPhone, many take the decision to claim that their iPhone has been stolen, simply so they can make a claim on their iPhone insurance cover policy.
An error of judgement like making a theft claim rather than a loss claim can haunt the consumer and bring problems in future years, who may think that no one would ever know about their manipulation of the truth. Unfortunately this may not be the case any more, as iPhone insurance providers are now actively trying to seek out customers who they believe may be making a false claim by stating that their iPhone has been stolen.
Bogus insurance claims are becoming increasingly easy for the modern and forward thinking insurance company to detect. By interviewing claimants verbally over the phone during the claims process, similar patterns of deception have become easily detectable. Fraudulent claims, such as declaring your iPhone stolen, when it was really lost, have reportedly cost the industry over a billion in revenue over the last few years.
Unfortunately, many people seem to be unaware that making a false claim on something as small as the insurance policy for an iPhone is classed as insurance fraud, which if convicted, could land you with a criminal conviction. Now that must be a real wake up call for the average man in the street, a criminal record can have all sorts of negative affects on your future, from job applications to being refused insurance in other areas, such as laptop insurance cover, automotive and even home insurance products.
Due to an estimated one in ten theft claims for iPhone Insurance being suspected of being fake, think again before you make a false claim. iPhone insurance providers require a Police incident number before they will start to process your iPhone insurance claim. In order to get a Police incident number you will have to report your iPhone as stolen to the Police and make a statement to that effect, the Police are also actively getting involved with insurance fraud of this nature. So not only could you end up with a criminal conviction for insurance fraud, you could also add wasting police time or even attempting to pervert the course of justice, all because your iPhone cover did not cover you for loss!
There is some simple action you can take to avoid getting involved in this situation and firstly that would be to make sure that when you purchase iPhone Insurance, you select a insurance policy that will cover you in the event of you loosing your iPhone. Secondly, if you find out your iPhone insurance cover did not offer cover for loss, then take the loss on the chin, rather than risk a criminal record for such a small amount of money
Taxi Refused Women With no Baby Car Seat

After a recent visit to Worcester by train, one of our regular customers contacted us to ask about child car seats and where we stand as taxi drivers with the child seat laws and restrictions. Sheila Jones was refused a Worcester Taxi recently, as Sheila did not have a child car seat with her for her 2 year old daughter to sit in whilst in the Taxi.
Cheltenham Taxi is of the view that the Worcester Taxi driver involved was properly a bit keen when it comes to road safety, or may not have been aware of the exemptions. It can be a hard shout for Taxi drivers, as they are legally responsible for ensuring children under 14 are belted up correctly whilst travelling in their Taxi.
Children are exempt from the child car seats laws whilst travelling in a taxi, as long as a certain criteria is met:
Children under 3 may sit on an adults lap in the rear of a Taxi, as long as the adult is wearing a seatbelt -the seatbelt must only be around the adult and not the baby.
Children 3 years and over may sit in the rear of a taxi using just the seatbelt, if the correct baby car seat or booster seat for the child’s age and weight is not available.
No child under the age of 13 and less than 135cm in height may travel in the front seat of a taxi.
If you are planning a Taxi journey for an advanced date, there maybe sufficient time to arrange for the correct child car seats to be available.
It would be un-reasonable to expect a Taxi to carry 8-10 different baby, child and booster seats with them, just as it would be un reasonable for a family using public transport to carry a child car seat with them whist travelling.
If you booked a Cheltenham Taxi in advance to take you and a child to the airport, we would be more than happy to hold on to your baby car seat for you and make it available for you on the return journey.
Disclaimer.
This is not safety advice for your children when using a Taxi service, it just our interpretation of current UK child seat legislation. If you need advice, please contact your local road safety unit at your local authority.

I was on vacation with my family having a great time until thief’s got hold of our beach bag. We were having a great time visiting all the local attractions until we were robbed. We didn’t even notice that someone had gone into our bag and stolen our Iphone, my son’s mp3 player and my daughter’s ipod until we went to get something out of it. We were all really upset. It would have cost over five hundred pounds to replace them and we couldn’t afford that. They were all new items and I was steaming mad.
My wife reminded me that she had been smart enough to insure them all. Thank goodness. So we called the insurance company. The customer service agent was really friendly and helped walk us through the entire process of filing a claim for each of the items. It didn’t take long and she was able to tell us exactly what we needed to do. We could even go on line to their website and track our iPhone insurance claim and within 48 hours, we had replacements. It even covered all the phone calls that the thief made after stealing our iPhone. I was so glad they covered fraudulent calls because there were over a hundred of dollars worth made in the first couple of hours. The iPhone insurance company was so helpful and were easy to deal with.
We had a long flight home and the kids would have been completely bored if they didn’t have their electronic devices to listen to music and play games. In fact, we couldn’t have boarded the plane without the electronic ticket information I had stored on our Iphone.
We even got all our text messages and the numbers we had stored in our address books because of their great address book back up plan. I have never been so impressed with service and so happy to have insurance as I was that day. Our vacation could have been completely ruined; we would have remembered this vacation for all the wrong reasons if it wasn’t for the insurance.
Instead, we all remember it as the best vacation ever and I am the first person to tell all my friends and business associates about how iPhone insurance saved our vacation spending money. I always knew that my wife was smart, now I know she is a genius! Now I make sure that getting insurance is the first thing I look into when we buy a new electronic device and for under six pounds a month I can testify that it is money well spent. It saved us hundreds, a lot of headaches, and lots of trouble.
iPhone Insurance Had my Train Trip Covered!

Ever since my early teens I have always wanted to be a photographer, through high School I was always known for taking photos of everyone and everything. I wanted to study art at university and set up a professional photo shoot company, but my parents and school persuaded me to study business with a couple of foreign languages thrown in.
I ended up doing really well at university, ending up with a good high paying job in the City of London. About five years into the job I decided I still wanted to follow and pick up on my photography dream, so that’s what I did in the early part of 2008.
I’m not quite sure how or why but I wanted to photograph weddings, I felt it to be a fairly profitable area if I could only shoot a two or three good weddings and get the results featured in the right wedding magazines, I would be well on the way to getting up and running.
Nobody was going to employ a novice for their big day without references and a glowing port folio, so there was nothing for it, I had to do some free work to start a portfolio, I did this by offering the friend of a friend who was getting married my services for free.
This was no small wedding; it was at an exclusive venue in the forest of dean, some 130 miles from London. Photography equipment packed lovingly away, I took a train to Gloucester, then a Taxi into The Forest of Dean, and this was the point where things started to go wrong!
When I got in the Taxi, I told the driver roughly where I wanted to go, he asked if I had the post code, I reached in my pocket for my iPhone, where I had all the venue details safely stored. This is when I went cold, my iPhone was missing, I had left it on the coffee table in the train, I got the driver to turn round and rush back to the station, but it was too late, the train had gone, along with my iPhone insurance no claims bonus and more importantly my iPhone!
The Taxi Driver was great; he got me to the wedding venue from my vague description of the address and was more than happy for me to make use of his phone, so I could let people know I had lost my iPhone. The driver told me that in the past year he had 4 separate iPhone’s left in his cab. I was the fifth, luckily I had iPhone insurance cover, but that still will not me loosing all that data I had stored forever.
The wedding photos all went fine and the newly weds were impressed with the pictures and look great in my portfolio. As for the iPhone, which was all sorted out within two days, luckily my iPhone insurance cover included a rapid 48 hour replacement service, but I had lost all my data as I had not backed it up, I shall learn from that mistake.
I did three more weddings over the summer months, all of them a complete success and looking great in my portfolio, more importantly, the word of mouth recommendations started spreading and it was not long before I got my first fully paid wedding booking! I found after my first booking it seemed to open the flood gates as I now have half of my weekends for 2009 booked up, which is just great!
Get Camera Insurance if You Wash Your Camera!

My husband had just brought a new camera after me nagging him for the best part of two years; it was a 14.7 mega pixel Samsung with HD and digital and optical lens, fantastic! Don’t get me wrong, there was nothing really wrong with our old Samsung camera, its just that 1.4 mega pixels was getting a bit behind the times! My friend’s photos always looked so much better than mine, so much larger and clearer than anything I could produce with our old Samsung.
Jeff took the new camera to work, just two days after we got it to take some pictures of his new truck to show the kids, don’t loose or break it I said, he frowned at me and said ‘like I would’!
He took some great pictures of his truck, the definition of the images was great, it was raining when he took the pictures and you could clearly see the rain drops over the bright shinny red paintwork, this was one fantastic camera.
Jeff had had a good soaking that day in the rain and his smelly old waterproof was smelling a bit more than normal, so I decided to put it through the wash, unfortunately, Jeff had left the camera in one of the pockets! Whilst I was checking the pockets the phone rang and took away my line of concentration.
After the phone call, I must have just picked the coat up and shoved it straight into the machine, forgetting that only half the pockets had been checked! It was when the wash was about half completed that my mistake had been noticed; my 5 year old son started asking me what was the box doing inside the washing machine? I put my coffee down and walked into the utility room to see my son, who was sitting down by the washing machine staring through the clear door of the machine; on the other side of which was our new Samsung camera, caught in between the recess and the rubber seal of the door. I stopped the wash cycle and reset the machine to drain and then opened the door and recovered the drowned camera. It would be clear from the levels of water it had been in contact with, that it had already taken its last photo, just two days old!
On my husbands return from the gym I explained the incident to him, which he found quite amusing, or should I say, a great excuse to make some sarcastic one liners, his speciality. Then, once the jokes had started to wear off, he said have you informed the camera insurance company? I did not know he had taken out a stand alone camera insurance policy for the new Samsung, but as he said, three hundred pounds worth of camera is worth protecting.
I was a bit taken back the two days later when there was a knock at the door and a delivery man thrust a bag in my hand and said sign here please, it was a replacement camera, a replacement for the one I had washed a couple of days previously. I will make sure we get camera insurance again for this one, as the policy we had before is only valid for one claim and then it is automatically void.
Since the washing machine incident I have filled up the laptop hard drive with countless photos of the children, also, I now double check the pockets in our washing every time I fill the machine, just in case of cameras or something else expensive!
Be Happy -You Purchased Laptop Insurance Cover!

Did you know not all laptop insurance products are the same, and that some providers will not even cover you for say ‘Water Damage’? It’s the truth, no matter how problematic it is to get your laptop replaced or how important the material on it is, if your laptop was damaged by moisture most laptop insurance uk companies will simply tell you No Way. The key term here is most and very luckily for me, not all!
Last summer I was staying at my parents’ flat for a few weeks while my own abode was being remodelled . I remember being pleased that I had finally bought a brand new laptop to replace the clunky old desktop that I had been hauling around since my university days and that I could bring my laptop out to my parents’ place and use it there. Of course, I hadn’t counted on there not being any internet connection, so my laptop sat in my bag for most of my stay.
The day before I was moving back to my own place I wanted to show my mom some writing I had done so I got it up on the screen for her. She Mother was really impressed with my laptop and all of the functionality that it could bring and she was even thinking of having my Daddy look into it as something that they could get for themselves . She had been thinking about replacing her desktop longer than I had been putting up with mine .
The next morning, I awoke to a chill in the room and a general feeling of clamminess in the air. Even before I woke up fully , I knew that something was adrift and then finally, as my eye site focused I could see what a swamp my desk was with water. There had been some serious leaking through the open window in the night and now my desk, which sat directly underneath the window, was soaked, including my brand new laptop. I forgot to shut the window tight, my parents had warned me about this problem! It sure is lucky I had decided to take out Laptop Insurance Uk, as it would not even boot up. Equally important was that one of my work colleagues had told me to check that the Insurance will cover me for liquid damage, this I had done and it was actually the third Laptop Insurance website I visited before the right policy for my laptop was found.
At the end of the day, there was nothing to do but to call the company that had provided me with the Laptop Insurance. The representative was happy to hear my concerns and asked me plenty of questions about the nature of the problem. I sat on the phone nervously, waiting to hear that this wasn’t covered.
expect to see a resolution in no time at all. My problem with water damage, something that Laptop Insurance policies are notoriously reluctant to take care of, was well in the range of what could be covered and true to their word, I had the repairs taken care of very promptly.
